Rogue-like top-down shooter Tesla Force will be finally be released for iOS tomorrow, i.e. 19th of August.
After launching Tesla Force for PC in August 2020, its developer 10tons soon announced that the game will be released on iOS as well. Today, almost one year after the announcement, the release date is finally upon us. The game will be released for iOS on Apple’s App Store on the 19th of August.
About Tesla Force:
Tesla Force is a game that is a spin-off of another game called Tesla vs Lovecraft, which too was developed by 10tons. Prior to its imminent mobile release, Tesla Force was released for PC, PS4, and XBOX as well. It received a positive-ish response, which led to 10tons announcing a mobile release. The game-like its predecessor, is a rogue-like top-down shooter as well. The game plays out in a dungeon-like environment where the player is to take on hordes of out worldly creatures. To do this, the player plays as 4 iconic characters, namely:

- Nikola Tesla, the master of gadgets.
- Howard Phillips Lovecraft, the keeper of the Eldritch Truth.
- Mary Shelley, the mother of monsters.
- Marie Curie, the dual-wielding genius.
All of these people were exceptionally brilliant in their own different fields. Therefore, each character has a different use case and different abilities. Like most rogue-like games, this game too has endless replayability. You can make use of a wide range of devastating weapons such as the x-blade or the tesla turret as you fight over a dozen of Lovecraft’s original horror characters.
How to download:
The game has been open for pre-registration for about a month now. One key point to note is that the game is not free-to-play it and comes with a price tag of $5.99. You can download the game from the same link through which you had pre-registered for it. However, if you haven’t yet pre-registered, you can do that until the release and then download the game from here.
Conclusion:
To conclude, rogue-like games are pretty popular in the mobile gaming market, and therefore Tesla Force should be able to create a name for itself through its unique offerings. The one thing that can cause a negative effect is the fact that it is not free-to-play. Since the mobile gaming market is largely free-to-play, it might affect the game’s popularity a bit. So, what do you think about the upcoming rogue-like shooter? Will it be popular in the mobile gaming market? Let us know in the comments section.
