BGMI- one of the most celebrated games in India shortly after its launch on July 2nd has already crossed 50 million downloads on Playstore. The developers took it onto their official Instagram channel on August 16 to announce their achievement. Players were gifted with a momentous permanent outfit on the game accomplishing this feat. For a game to cross 50 million in a little more than one month is something to rejoice, and with surprising the players back to back with great events and announcements, Krafton has finally released the iOS version of the game. All the gaming enthusiasts can now finally participate in the Indian battlegrounds irrespective of their OS.

Ever Since the release of BGMI for Android, iOS Users had been eagerly waiting for an official revelation from the developers. With the successive hints given by Krafton, players could easily sense the release of iOS version dropping in, despite any clear revelation made by the developers. However, much to the surprise of all the BGMI enthusiasts, putting an end to all the wait, Krafton has announced the availability of the iOS version of the game earlier today.
Players can download the game for Android from the Playstore, while ending all the wait here iOS users can download the game from the Appstore. iOS users may or may not experience some technical errors while logging in to their Apple Id, due to the maintenance check in the authentication system of the newly released version. The game size is about 1.9 GB and requires compatibility of iOS 9.0 or later for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Rewards and BGMI India Series
Krafton has made sure none of the players miss out on the rewards given out before. iOS players can login to their Id and get exciting Welcome Rewards – the Recon Mask, Recon Outfit, the Celebration Expert Title and 300AG which can be redeemed together from the Events section. Alongside, exclusive other rewards like the Supply and classic Crate Coupons along with the Constable Set can also be redeemed separately from the events section. Adding on, players also receive all the rewards as mentioned in the 50 million downloads event- including the permanent Galaxy Messenger outfit.
Now that BGMI is officially available for iOS, both Android as well as iOS users can participate in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, which is the first open eSports tournament held in India by Krafton. Players can register for the BGIS tournament simply by visiting the BGMI website or by the in-game portal.
