Mini Mini Farm is a cute farming game that sees the player developing an island and making it habitable, whilst trading farm goods for money through villager requests. Here is how to efficiently run your farm and everything you need to know when starting out.
What to expect
Mini Mini Farm is unlike other farming games in that there is no energy counter or long-timers. You could start the game and never be forced to finish, providing a refreshing and genuine gaming experience. So I would advise when playing this game to take a small break every twenty to thirty minutes, only for about twenty seconds, to keep your eyes healthy.
The aim of the game is to construct and furnish the houses on each section of the island, so someone can move in and give you a hand. To be able to build the house, each area needs to be completed to a certain degree, the first section requires you to complete the island to 80% to unlock the house. To ‘complete‘ an area, you need to buy the sources of material scattered around: trees, stones, farm animals, and even ores like copper or silver. When you buy a source, you can farm it for its material and it will respawn after a short time.
There are also other smaller areas of your island that you have to pay to unlock, which will give you access to more sources and plots of land for farming new crops. There are many other ways to gather materials and money, such as farming crops and going fishing, but your main income will be through trading, accessed via a postbox. Villagers will ask for resources in return for money, and you can either accept or leave the trades and wait for new ones.
It is important to know your goals fully, otherwise, this game would instantly lose any substance. Keep in mind that aim to unlock the house, through trading and resource gathering and unlocking resources, and you’ll already have a winning mindset.

Stay busy!
As you unlock more and more resources, you will be running around harvesting, and it may be easy to lose track of what resources you have where. Stay calm! This is supposed to be relaxing, not Kitchen Nightmares. There is a certain flow on your island and reset times. Walk around in a circular pattern, detouring to the other little areas to gather what you can before entering the main cycle again. Don’t rush to collect everything, as then you will be prone to forget what you have where, and may miss things that you need.
You will want to check the post box as soon as there is a red exclamation point above its head to check for new trades. If it seems a fair trade, you can focus on collecting the resources, or simply accept it if you have enough already. But as soon s you have traded, return to collecting materials. It would be a shame to miss out on a good trade because you neglected to collect one of your resources.
When it comes to staying busy, I would recommend you prioritize fishing, then everything else, as it can really rope in a lot of money!

Don’t accept every trade
Do not feel inclined to accept every trade. Mini Mini Farm provides you with ample trading opportunities. If one trade comes along that seems too little, save your resources up for a bigger trade that will be worth more coins, or you could wait for a trade that would give you double your money.
Those smaller trades can be quickly done later, either when you have an abundance of the resource to give away or you are in need of money desperately and no big trades have come through for a while.
Secrets of the island…
Excitingly, there are many secrets on the island! Whenever you see a little blue flower, investigate the borders of the island around it. You may find a secret passage, or even a secret access point to buy…
Those secret areas provide you with more resources and crops that are otherwise unobtainable through farming, so get looking! I would generally advise you to try and unlock the other areas of your land before buying repeat sources, to really see what the island can offer you. Once you know what you have on offer, you can decide what resource you need the most.
