Contra is finally out! TiMi Studio and Konami have brought the massively popular retro arcade shooter Contra Returns back; but this time retrofitted the classic game to suit the modern Android and iOS devices.
Keeping true to its classic retro vibe, the game brings a whole lot of new content. With over 200+ levels to beat and upgraded visuals, brings back the run and gun game back. There will be levels that are similar to those 30 years ago, and an entire slew of new ones with a brand new storyline along with a whole bunch of characters – 45 to be precise.
Players will face off against an army of interstellar threats, playing as fan-favorite characters such as Bill Rizer, Lance Bean, Snow Bear, and cameos from franchise characters like T-1000 and John Conner from the Terminator series.
The game also offers multiple game modes like One-Life mode; where experienced players can try their hand at, other than the Classic Contra Mode. Other than these modes there is the co-op mode, where players can battle other players online in a one-on-one mode. Classic mode is where you team up to clear stages and earn rewards. The other modes are 3v3 Fort battle, 1v1 Hero battle and 2v2 Ultra Rapid mode, and many more.
