Netflix Games were initially introduced back in November 2021, which entailed mobile games being added to the Netflix Mobile App. And their line-up of games included a wide range from puzzle-based games to 3D racers, and it was made available on both Android and Google Play. Netflix Games have now set off the New Year by launching two new mobile games; Arcanium : Rise of Akhan and Krispee Street, on January 18th, 2022, bringing their total up to 12 Mobile games available on Netflix.
New Game #1 – Arcanium : Rise of Akhan
Arcanium : Rise of Akhan is an ambitious single-player open-world, roguelike strategy card game. It follows a tale of fellowship and bravery, set in a fantasy world filled with animals with a collision of good, magic, evil and technology. Players form a party of three heroes and embark on a dangerous journey to defeat Akhan and save the World of Arzu from grave destruction. A Hearthstone reminiscent game developed by Supercombo and Rogue Games, the developers of Card Blast, which is also available on Netflix.

New Game #2 – Krispee Street
The second game added to the Netflix Subscription Service is based on a popular webcomic that boasts over 140,000 followers on Instagram. Krispee Street is a hidden object game that features hundreds of quirky characters and items to seek and find. The game harbours similarities to “Where’s Waldo”. The game was developed by FrostyPop, who is also the maker of Shooting Hoops, Teeter, and Bowling Ballers, which are also featured on Netflix Games, making Krispee Street the fourth game on Netflix from the indie developer.

Netflix Games are on a roll
The dozen mobile games are available to download and play free of charge as part of the Netflix Subscription package available for Android and iPhone users.
Netflix is strapped onto the mobile games services and does not seem to be deviating any time soon. Although their portfolio is still new and relatively small, the collection could become more substantial over time, allowing Netflix users a distraction or a new temptation once they’ve exhausted shows and movies to watch on Netflix.
