Townscaper, whose early access version on steam has received overwhelmingly love from the players, will now soon be making its way to Switch and Mobile devices. Oskar Stålberg, the developer of the game on his Twitter handle, announced that he has teamed up with ‘Raw Fury’ to bring the game to all platforms in 2021.
About Townscaper
To everyone who is not aware, Townscaper is a minimalistic city builder game that features a simple user interface alongside cute graphics. The game has no objective or story; it’s basically made for players to come and have a fun, satisfying experience building whatever they wish. The developer himself has described Townscaper as a toy rather than a video game.
Townscaper is all about constructing an island town using colored blocks. The game’s algorithm will automatically turn these blocks into cute little arches, bridges, backyards, stairways, depending on their configuration. However, you surely can learn the pattern and manipulate it; that is what I personally enjoy doing.
When will Townscaper release on mobile?
The game’s early access version is already available on steam at $5.99. Talking of Switch and the Mobile release date of Townscaper, the developer has not shared an exact date or release. But they did mention that the game will release in 2021 itself. This means you will get this game on your smartphones before the end of this year.

Price of Townscaper on mobile?
Unfortunately, the developer has shared no details about the price of the Townscaper mobile version. We would love this game to release as a free-to-play title with optional IAP, but the chances are that it will be a premium release priced somewhere between $2 to $6.
