Genshin Impact’s HoYoWiki is a database provided by HoYoLAB and built in collaboration with the player community that allows Travelers to study and record information about Teyvat’s universe at any time. The game offers a lot of features and items, hence there was an urgent need of a database like HoYoWiki among players to keep them hooked to the game.
What is HoYoWiki Database?
If you choose to check the records of Teyvat and information on the friends you have encountered along the route, the HoYoWiki will be there to assist you regardless of time or location. The current version of Genshin Impact HoYoWiki lets you browse and explore entries in the following 5 sections: Artifect Archive, Materials, Weapon Archive, Enemies and Monsters, and Character Archive.
The collection of data for HoYoWiki is a long-term development project, and the improvement of the Genshin Impact HoYoWiki is impossible without the participation of all Travelers. The upcoming editions of HoYoWiki will allow editing to Travelers who are enthusiastic about Genshin Impact and skilled with documentation to collaborate on its development.
HoYoWiki will be replacing already existing fandomWikis
The recently launched HoYoWiki for Genshin Impact will serve as a database system for all in-game data; however, it appears that the database is still in its infancy and is far from completion. This wiki will be most useful to new players, as it may be difficult to locate accurate answers to numerous questions in a game of this size.
In the near future, according to the official notes, this database will be community-driven and eager tourists will be able to add to it. However, Genshin Impact already has a fandom wiki that has almost all of the game’s essential information and has been maintained by devoted players for a very long time, so this new HoyoWiki will not replace it any time soon.
