If you are on the lookout for an advanced auto-battle strategy mobile game that will challenge the inner gamer in you, look no further than Gamevil’s latest RPG strategy game, “Arcana Tactics.”
Arcana Tactics is an advanced RPG strategy game, available for both iOS and android, wherein you get to formulate and strategize your game plans using the numerous heroes, currencies, and arcana cards to win battles. Each battle is unique, offering endless possibilities, be it hero combinations, game strategies, battle plans, etc. Let us take a look at what this exciting game has to offer.
The Gameplay
Arcana Tactics being an advanced RPG game, is filled to the brim. It includes 139 heroes to choose from, 70 Arcana cards to help build your own deck, and multiple gaming modes, including a story mode, quests, arena, and multiplayer. There’s not much to choose from while selecting the starting characters, but it is advised to go for heroes in Tier 1, as they have more HP and will help against opponents during the initial stages.

The game also allows you to swap out heroes, and even if you have multiple similar heroes, you can fuse them as you make progress. Fusing heroes will allow for more skills, combos, and other abilities. The battlefield is where the action happens and is made up of 16 squares arranged in a 4×4 pattern for each player, wherein you can place your heroes in any of the 16 squares and then engage in battle.
Arcana Tactics being an advanced RPG, relies heavily on player strategy, and therefore, requires understanding the role and abilities of each hero, mixing and matching them, and creating combos, which will either make or break each battle. Leveling up is another important aspect of the gameplay, which ensures that you have access to more currency, resources, and items which will help you progress faster. Winning matches, activating boosters, collecting daily rewards, and taking part in events will further help you to level up faster.
The Controls
The controls in this game are pretty self-explanatory, and the in-game tutorial does a pretty good job of explaining how the control works. You are required to tap on the hero you wish to put into battle and then tap on a specific area in the battlefield where you want it to stay. Starting a battle requires for you to tap on the start battle icon, located on the top central part of the screen, after which the battle commences. Once the battle is over, you are prompted to click on the screen to continue further.

The Graphics
The graphics in this game are pretty great, and there is not much to complain about, except for the few dropped frames here and there. The heroes in the game are also very well illustrated and carry their own unique traits. The animations and transitions happening throughout the game are well polished, pleasing to the eyes, and don’t seem odd or out of place in any manner. Overall, the graphics get a good seal of approval.

In Conclusion
Arcana Tactics may present itself as an advanced strategy game, and rightfully so, because of its infinite number of combinations, battleplans, and strategies coupled with a massive inventory of heroes. However, as complicated and challenging it may sound, it is very likable, fun to play, and becomes quite engaging and interesting as you move along the game. Advanced RPG may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for folks who are interested in advanced RPGs or entering into the world of advanced RPGs, Arcana Tactics is definitely a good start. The game is free to install and available on both Google Play and the App Store.
