A new season of Pokémon Go brings new events to you. Pokémon Go’s new Season of Discovery kicked off on the 1st of June and with it came new updates, changes, features, and a whole series of events. Season 8 debuts the martial artist Mienfoo and you are guaranteed an encounter reward with it at rank 5. There is a whole range of new rewards this season has brought and you can read more about that here. Today, we’ll be focusing on all the events that are going to take place this month because what’s Pokémon Go without any events? So, let’s get right into it.
1 June 1-17: Regi raids
Regirock, Registeel, and Regice will appear in raid battles.

2 June 6: Gible community day
Get a chance to find a shiny Gible to add to your collection!

3 June 8 (6-7pm local time): Spotlight hours
Abra is the spotlight Pokemon with a 2x catch candy bonus. You also have a chance to capture shiny Abra.

4 June 8-13: A very slow discovery
This new event revolves around slow Pokémon and gives you the chance of finding Pokémon like the Galarian Slowpoke.

5 June 15 (6-7pm local time): Spotlight hours
Slowpoke gets the spotlight with a chance to find a shiny slowpoke. You also have a 2x transfer candy bonus.
6 June 17-20: Solstice event
This ought to be a fun event. Pokémon from both hemispheres will be swapped for three days giving a chance to people from each hemisphere to catch Pokémon that are exclusive to the other hemisphere.
7 June 17-30: New Raids
A surprise legendary Pokémon will begin to appear in these raids
8 June 22 (6-7pm local time): Spotlight hours
Swinub takes the spotlight granting you 2x evolution EXP along with it.

9 June 29 (6-7pm local time): Spotlight hours
The final spotlight event of this month features Aipom and 2x Catch Stardust

As you can see, June is an action-packed month for all the Pokémon Go lovers. Season 8, that will go on till September 1. Pokémon Go celebrates its fifth anniversary this season and it has been confirmed that seven new shiny Pokémon will be introduced in this year’s Pokémon Go Fest. The Season of Legends was a hit and the Season of Discovery shall be no less.
