Hundred Days, a unique simulation game that allows you to get into the boots of a vintner and run a winery, has now been released! Here’s what you need to know about it!
Almost a month ago, developer Broken Arms Games decided to open the game up for pre-registrations on mobile, and today it has been released! The game first came out on PC and the audience took to it relatively positively. Following its PC launch, the developers decided to bring it to mobile as well. Last month, the game was open for pre-registration and now, we’re here!
About Hundred Days:
In Hundred Days the player lives the life of a vintner and handles all the day-to-day activities of his winery. This storyline or concept is something that is pretty new, and the inspiration for it comes from the life of one of the developers. The family of Yves Hohler, the lead designer and co-founder of Broken Arms Games, is into winemaking, and he has studied Oenology as well. This is where the game’s unique setting stems from. Like every simulation game, your decisions decide your fate. The player is to manage his winery by making smart economic decisions. The game features well-designed, smooth, and relaxing animations which might make the game an enjoyable experience. The player can/must:
- Gain a complete learning of the winemaking procedure, and understand what separates a thousand dollar bottle from one which costs a few bucks.
- Care for his/her winery and pay attention to its needs and requirement.
- Also play adventure and various modes that allow for long or shorter gameplay sessions.
- Protect his/her grapes from diseases.
- Learn what’s the best season to prune, fertilize, and harvest.
- Understand the importance of different yeasts and bacteria strains.
How to Download:
Hundred Days is now available on both Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App store, the game is not free-to-play and comes with a price tag of $5.99. So, if you want to download it, you can do it from here for your Android device and from here for your iOS device!
Conclusion:
To conclude, although Hundred Days brings forward a unique and unexplored story in the simulation genre, novelty doesn’t equate to success. The game did receive a lukewarm response on PC, but we hope that is not the case on mobile. Additionally, the fact that it comes with a $5.99 price tag might affect its appeal as well.
