Upload Simulator is an idle clicker game where you are in charge of uploading a multitude of video games. Here is everything to know to upload videos fast and efficiently.
Reputation
As you upload games, you gain a burst of reputation – but it will quickly deplete! Your reputation level is one of the guiding goals of the game, it multiplies your credit income and acts as a level-up system. To level up your reputation, you have to hit a milestone, but with it constantly depleting, you must acquire upgrades and upload them in quick succession to rapidly gain reputation.
The larger the file of the game being uploaded, the larger the increase of reputation, so having a few large games on the go could shoot up your reputation enough to level up.
Components
Upload Simulator gives you a few tools to help you upload many games quickly which is needed to ramp up your reputation. The Network and Storage components directly impact your uploads. Upgrading your Network increases your upload speed, allowing for faster uploads. Upgrading the Storage makes the files of the uploads larger and increases the reputation payout. Having larger files is great and will help you advance the game quicker, but you must then have a fast upload speed to maintain your upload completion rate. If your files are uploading too slow, then your reputation will deplete before the next ones are finished.
The Miner Cursor component increases the rate of credits being mined by you. Credits buy everything in the game and is exclusively mined by you. Your broadband does passively generate credits, but not nearly as much as you can. Upgrading this significantly assists you in buying upgrades sooner and advancing quicker.
Finally, your Processor component is expensive but allows more uploads to be happening at once. It may be worth saving up for a small while to afford the upgrade, as it increases your efficiency incredibly. A balanced upgrade approach to your components will allow you to advance your reputation efficiently and quickly.
Upgrades
As you play through Upload Simulator and enhance your components and reach reputation levels, more upgrades will become available. These upgrades should be bought as soon as they are available, as they can decrease the costs of your components and half the rate at which you lose reputation. They may be expensive, but it is worth saving up for them. The game will notify you when new upgrades are ready, so keep an eye out and grab them as soon as you can!
Research and hacks
Upload Simulator’s premium currency, research points are gained after a certain milestone of transferred data has been hit, starting off at 1TB. These researches are powerful, from doubling your upload speed to increasing your offline multiplier. I would suggest, initially, upgrading your upload speed first. Considering that you gain research points from uploading data, by doubling your upload speed, you’ll be able to acquire your next point at a much faster rate, allowing you to gain your next research point quicker.
Hacks are super useful abilities that, once bought, can be activated as much as you want after cooldowns. Choose which ones you want wisely, however, as with each hack you buy, the others get much more expensive! For the early games, I would suggest Fast Forward and Withdraw, to increase your upload speed and gain additional credits.
