Super Factory Tycoon is a fun and comical factory building game from developers Kwai Games Pte. Ltd. The game sees you simulating and running an automated food factory where your job is to make sure everything works out by solving whatever problems that may arise and help the factory expand its operations by building more production lines.
For players that are familiar with the factory building games, this game will be like a walk in the park. However, if you’re not exactly familiar and you’re thinking about getting your hands on this game for the first time, this beginner’s guide will help you on your journey to starting and getting your own factory up and running in no time.
After installing the game from the respective app store, the tutorials are rather quick and short in such that I wouldn’t exactly call it a tutorial. In the first few minutes, you’ll be introduced to your factory, where you’ll be shown your production line, how fruits are turned into juice, how they’re carried all the way to the machines that blend the oranges, and how they set it up at the back of the delivery truck where it gets delivered to customers. So without further ado, let’s get into it:
1 Take a few minutes to get the hang of your factory
Once you’ve been shown the instant how-to, take a few minutes or more just to explore the factory even before you begin producing, employing, and upgrading stuff. Take a look around the various locations and branches of the factory, such as the cafe, trading room, delivery room, delivery hall, supply room, and the stylishly designed Boss room – your personal office where you relax all day long.
2 Hire staff workers
One of the first things you need to do to get your factory up and running is to make sure you have enough staff working on every factory production line. Other relevant areas such as Cafe, Trading hall and delivery hall also require staff to handle the operations that take place in them.
These locations require active staff to handle whatever business may come or leave as there will be investor offers, and customers will come into your cafe for snacks. Sometimes your fruit blenders may spill fruits all over the factory as well, and you’ll need to hire cleaner staff to clean up the mess. As your factory progresses, you will have to upgrade the staff in order to increase efficiency.
3 Accept offers from Investors
A cool feature about this game is that your factory will often receive offers from Investors wanting to invest in your factory, and most of them usually offer you a considerable amount of money. Accepting these offers is a good way to increase your factory’s capital to keep up with your staff payroll and necessary upgrades. Although not all investors’ offers should be considered, some of them offer little cash that will not help your factory.
4 Spend your revenue wisely
An easy way for your factory to run out of business and close down is if you lavish all your cash on unnecessary upgrades or by purchasing items you don’t need yet, such as building a new production line when you can barely manage the first. Starting out with just one production line, you might be inclined to buy another simply because you have the cash, but you should make sure you’ve met all the recommendations and expectations from the first production line before moving to a new one.
If you buy a new production line and end up having enough cash saved up, you will be unable to pay your workers, and they’ll eventually leave your factory until you can afford to hire them back. So save up cash and make you always have extra cash after spending.
5 Upgrade your Production Lines regularly
The game starts you off with an Orange Juice production line which you’ll have to maintain for a while until you’ve raised enough cash to build another production line. The orange juice production line starts off at a slow pace, and you’ll have to upgrade it several times to get it running faster and more preferred. Upgrading the items in each production line can be quite expensive, but with some investors’ cash and cash from goods already supplied, you should be able to upgrade them just fine at first.
6 Check the taskbar and complete tasks to progress
Completing tasks is one of the easiest and fastest ways to get your factory in good shape. Tasks can be about anything at all. Hiring more cleaners, adding parking lots, accepting offers, etc. Tasks do not have a duration for completion. You can complete them at any point in the game, but completing tasks is one of the best ways for factory progression to get your factory in much better shape.
7 You can manually collect your earning from the trading room
Revenue earned in the game is automatically added to your total capital at the top left corner of the screen, but if you prefer to cash in some of the money yourself, you can do that from the trading hall. The trading hall is where all the profits earned from products sold within the factory end up. You will see a greenish bubble floating above what looks like a glass with drinks in it. You can manually pick up your cash from there as well.
Finally, as a beginner, the above guide is to help you get the hang of the game’s basic gameplay. Things start at a slow pace when running your first production line, the Orange Juice production line. However, after following the above guides and you’ve been able to save enough cash to build another production line, that’s when the game picks up its pace and offers even more fun.
Soon you’ll find yourself crafting mechanical arms, transporting large chunks of products to demanding customers, building more and more food production lines, promoting advertisements, and often you’ll even go as far as researching certain aspects of product lines in order to get the best taste and efficiency out of your products
