The Game Awards 2020 was quite a lot of fun, and many new games were teased during the event. However, the event mostly revolves around PC, Consoles, and Switch games, there will still a couple of things for mobile gaming enthusiasts. As expected, Among Us Won the best multiplayer game and best mobile game of 2020, which. But what came as a surprise was Square Enix’s announcement of the Just Cause Mobile Game.

Just Cause Mobile Game
During The Game Awards 2020, Square Enix announced that they would bring its popular game Just Cause to Mobile. It will be a free-to-play action shooter game set in the Just Cause universe featuring both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The developer has already released a trailer of Just Cause Mobile, which you can look at below. The trailer makes it very clear that it will not merely be a ported version of the PC game; instead, it’s an altogether different game.
While the PC and Console versions of the game have a third-person view, the mobile version will feature a top-down perspective.
Just Cause Mobile Version To Feature Multiplayer Modes
Just Cause PC, and Console versions have no option to play online. However, Square Enix has confirmed that the mobile version of Just Cause will feature both single player and multiplayer mode.

In total, Just Cause Mobile will feature four different modes. Story Campaign, Triple Threat 30-Person Competitive Multiplayer, Co-Op Missions, and Challenge Mode. In Co-Op Missions, you can team up with four other players to form a squad and set on a journey to take on waves of enemies. Whiles in Triple Threat 30-Person Competitive Multiplayer, you will get to compete in a fast-paced multiplayer. A total of 3 teams of 10 players each will be formed. Each team will fight to secure bases and score points as they battle.
Just Cause Mobile Release Date
In the trailer, the game looks pretty ready to be launched. However, Square Enix has stated that they are still working on the game, and they only plan to release Just Cause Mobile sometime in 2021. The exact date and time have not been announced yet.

Just Cause Mobile will be released for both Android and iOS users; it will be a free-to-play game with options for in-app purchases.
