Shiloh and Bros Impostor Chase is a casual single-player social deduction game released by BBTV. In this game, much like Among Us, there are crews and an impostor. Crews go around the house completing tasks while the impostor tries to take the crews down. If you are playing as a crew you have to finish all the tasks before the imposter takes you down and if you are the imposter you have to take down all the crews before they finish their tasks, to win.
Tips for Shiloh and Bros Impostor Chase
1. Play Your Role
As mentioned earlier, the game has two roles: Crew and Imposter. You are given a role at the beginning of a game randomly unless you watch an ad to play as the impostor. To win a match in this game you have to be aware of the duty of your role whether you are a crew or the impostor.
In each game, the crews have three tasks to complete before the imposter gets them or before time runs out. Your tasks will be highlighted with arrows on the screen and, when you finish your tasks you will be guided to a task your teammate is doing. When one of your crew teammates gets killed, you can revive them by going near their tombstone.
While playing as the imposter your main goal is to kill all the crews before they finish their tasks or before time runs out. The identity of the imposter will not be revealed until they strike their first blow.
2. Keep an Eye Out on the Timer
In Shiloh and Bros Impostor Chase, each match last only for a minute so you have to be careful about the time running out, regardless of if you are the imposter or a crew. It’s always a good idea to keep checking the timer once in a while rather than just doing things blindly.
3. Earning Coins
Just like every other game, this game also has a basic in-game currency that you can use to buy various items in the game. Earning the coins in the game is not that hard too. Firstly, when you enter a game you will see coins scattered on the floor which you can collect regardless of your role. Then, when you finish a game whether you win or lose you will receive some amount of coins that you can double, triple, or even quadruple by watching an ad. You can then use the coins to purchase new characters, skins, hats, power-ups, etc.
4. Use Power-ups
There are 10 levels in the game to progress through. After reaching level 7 in the game you unlock power-ups that you can buy with coins. Now, it’s my suggestion to use your coins solely to buy the power-ups instead of the cosmetic items. Because the cosmetic items are merely for show and have no effect on your progress or gameplay. On the other hand, the power-ups can give you an advantage in the matches. A power-up can only be used for one round but you can purchase multiple of them. Here is a list of all the power-ups in the game and their uses,
- Speed-up: As the name suggests this power-up boosts the speed of your player. Use this to chase down crews as the imposter or run from the imposter as a crew.
- Ghost: This will simply turn your character invisible.
- Magnetize: This power-up turns you into a magnet and all the coins on the floor will be pulled towards you. Unlike the other power-ups, this one costs gems to purchase.
In addition to these power-ups, you can also watch an ad to receive a random power-up from the above list.
