Rotaeno, a new and upcoming mobile rhythm game, is all set to have a closed beta test. It will be exclusively held through TapTap, a popular online mobile gaming community platform. It is designed by Dream Engine for mobile devices and is scheduled to be held at the end of March 2022. In a recent tweet, they revealed the beta dates and time, which are as follows:
- March 29, 2022 – end of signups
- March 30, 2022 – beginning of CBT
- April 05, 2022 – end of CBT
They plan on conducting the beta test as a user experience review before moving on to the final stage of development.
With this game, Dream Engine is pushing the boundaries of a classic rhythm game by featuring innovative controls, like the use of tilting the complete phone in the direction of the visual cues along with following the music by tapping on screen.
How To Register
Since it is a closed beta test, one needs to register for it before being applicable to appear for it. The registration officially ends on 29th March 2022 at 3:00 PST. There is a Google Form that is needed to be filled out in order to do that.
All the details of the test can be found on TapTap. The test has a very simple format that will select the users randomly after they complete a survey. For the selected players, the game will be available to download for the test period, which is from March 30th 2022 at 21:00 PST to April 5th 2022 at 21:00 PST.
Advantages For Beta Users
There are multiple advantages that the beta users will get to experience. Firstly, they will get the first exposure to the game before other non-beta users. Secondly, the beta test version includes ten songs and 1 DLC pack of six additional songs which will be made available for purchase.
Moreover, a new section called Journey Mode will be open for inquisition and exploration. Lastly, the players will be allowed to make in-game purchases using Stellar Gems (their in-game currency). This value of currency will be added to the user’s account as premium currency.
After the beta test is successfully completed, Rotaeno will be available on Google Play and Apple Store.
