Krafton announced PUBG New State globally way back in February. However, what Krafton had planned for the game with regard to India was not very clear. This was because of the ban that was imposed on PUBG Mobile by the Indian Government. The launch plans were not clear because, in February, developer Krafton was planning for the India-specific re-launch of PUBG mobile, which was renamed, Battlegrounds Mobile India. Now that it is done, Krafton’s focus is back on PUBG New State.
A significant majority of people believed that PUBG New State will not be coming to India. At least not with the PUBG name, however, there have not been any issues till now.

The game is set in a dystopian 2051. It features elements that are similar to PUBG mobile, but with major enhancements.
