Nova Esports from China has become the PUBG Mobile dream team and has won the championship of PMGC 2021 and a prize pool worth $1.5 million. The biggest ESports tournament has been won twice by the team including this one. They are honored with jaw-dropping prize money. This is like a dream turned true for anyone.
The big three performance
Tem Nova Esports was dominant throughout and defended their first-ever title again. Second, to rank is the team of Natus Vincere and team Nigma Galaxy secured the third spot. Nova and NaVi had a point differential of 47 in between them which shows the clear take over by Nova, the PUBG Mobile dream team. Between NaVi and NiGa, it was only 9 points. Navi got prize money of $600K and NiGa with $300K.
Venue and Schedule
The world-famous tournament continued for three days long. Champions from all around the world and winners of different regional tournaments had participated. A total of 16 teams played around 18 matches each. The final matches were held on 21st, 22nd, and 23rd January 2022. The Covid-19 pandemic was restricted to a semi-LAN event. From India, Team Godlike participated in the tournament but could not be the PUBG Mobile dreamt team to win the tournament. They played the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 which got them to play this global championship.
Final points and special awards
On the final points table, Team Nova finished up with a total point of 222. Trailing them was the team Natus Vincere coming from Ukraine putting up a total of 175 points. Team Nigma Galaxy got 166 points. Some well-known teams like Alpha 7 Esports and Team team secret did not impress much and got 9th and 12th position in the final tally not paying like the PUBG Mobile dream team.
Order from Team Nova won the most valuable player award and got prize money of $10000. The league was followed by Nova Paraboy and team Kaos Next Ruya’s Frozen.
