Square Enix has started taking pre-registrations of its HD-2D JRPG, Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent globally. If you signed up for the closed beta test earlier, you do not need to pre-register now, as you have already pre-registered for the game. Travelers can enjoy various rewards at launch as a part of the pre-registration campaign. So make sure you pre-register for the game if not already.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a prequel to the acclaimed Octopath Traveler, which is now available on Nintendo Switch and Windows. The plot takes place a few years before the events in the original game, on the same continent of Orsterra.

No specific release date has been announced by the developers, but in the pre-registration announcement, they have given a hint that the game will be released by end of July 2022, expected on July 27, 2022.
