The trailer above gives a quick take on the graphics but nothing much on the gameplay! Northgard is a real time strategy-based game; based on Norse mythology offers a unique theme and story. We play as the Viking Rig, who is investigating his father the High King’s murder. With the High King’s Regal Horn stolen by a man named Hagen; Rig figures out that the mystery behind his father’s death is deeper that he expected. And this is what opens up a whole new world of Northgard; where you explore the lands, meet multiple friends along the way, make just as many enemies; all this as you uncover the truth behind your father’s death.
In Northgard you build your settlement and discover the vast lands, assign your Vikings jobs, manage your resources to survive the harsh winters, expand to new territories, achieve different victories, and play/battle against or with other clans
The Clans of Northgard
The game has been divided into parts – 11 chapters to be precise; to make the game more interesting and challenging. But before you do that, players need to understand and master how clans function. There are a total of 6 clans –
- Eikthyrnir – The clan of the stag
- Slidrugtanni – The clan of the boar
- Fenrir – The clan of the wolf
- Heidrun – The clan of the goat
- Huginn & Muninn – The clan of the raven
- Bjarki – The clan of the bear

The game will have 6 DLC’s which are all ready to play on both Android and iOS devices. This can be bought separately for $2.99/€2.99 or in bundles of three for $6.99/€6.99.
