Contra Returns to release globally on 26th July, Pre-registration begins

You cannot call yourself a true gamer if you haven’t played the classic contra, the game from KONAMI. After 30 years, the game is making a comeback, this time on smartphones. Timi studios (part of Tencent games) has teamed up with the Japanese game company KONAMI to develop the title ‘Contra Returns.’ It’s still a simple side-scrolling shooting game but comes with many new features and HD graphics. Contra returns features over 200 levels, new game modes such as one life mode, 1v1, and 3v3.

Contra Returns is now up for Pre-registration

Timi Studios has just announced that they have started taking pre-registration for the game. Both Android and iOS users can now Pre-register for Contra return by simply visiting the Google Play or Apple AppStore page of the game. Note: The game is still not available for pre-registration in all regions yet. The developers have also shared a Pre-registration trailer for the game, which you can look at below.

If you are wondering about the global release date of Contra Returns, then we have a piece of good news for you. The developers on the official Twitter handle of the game have confirmed that Contra Returns will be released globally on 26 July 2021.

Make sure you pre-register for the game right away, as all the players who pre-register will be rewarded with exclusive in-game items as rewards once the game is launched.
