Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend is a compilation of 3 games, Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, and Final Fantasy Legend III. The games first came out for Game Boy between 1989-1991. The series is extremely popular in Japan and as of 2011, the SaGa series has sold over 10 million units. This however is a thing of the past, last year to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary, Square Enix released the combo for Nintendo Switch. It was pretty well received, which led to Square Enix’s decision of releasing Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend for Mobile. The game will also be released for PC later.

About Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend:
The Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend consists of 3 JRPG games, the first of which was released in 1989. The player chooses a character class when the game starts. The three available classes are, Human, Mutant, and Monster. Each of these has certain abilities and some disadvantages. Furthermore, the game also features equipment from different genres, ranging from magic and swords of fantasy to plasma rifles and chainsaws of science fiction.
Importantly, the games coming out for mobile are not remasters of the original version. They are direct ports. That is, the games feature the same graphics as the ones released for Game Boy. However, they do come with certain additional features. Such as:
- Quick save / load
- Character speed boost
- Adjustable screen magnification
- Game Boy display mode – mirroring original GB screen layout
- New commemorative music and illustrations Choose from 8 x different in-game wallpapers
Additionally, the games will also come with support for one-handed play! Lastly, the games will be available in 2 languages at launch, English, and Japanese.
To conclude, this collection’s upcoming launch again is another example of the growing influx of JRPGs in the mobile gaming market. The audience for this genre although is relatively smaller when compared to other genres. It definitely is growing each day.
