Wipeout Rush, a new version of Wipeout is now announced by their developer, Rogue Games, for Android and iOS devices. Previously only being available on the Playstation, it is a surprise that it is going to be released for mobile devices. The game is set to launch in the year 2022.

The older renditions of WipEout for the Playstations are usually fast-paced racing series. But WipEout Rush won’t exactly be the same. It’ll be a card-based racing game for mobile, but unlike the others, you won’t get to start the car and race. Instead, you’ll manage a squad of racers, and you’ll get to do all the fun driving while dealing with cards and let you upgrade ships. The game promises to delve into the Wipeout lore. It would certainly be interesting to find out why we as players are not able to drive.
The developers are extremely ecstatic about the mobile version. They have promised some exciting new gameplay concepts, stunning graphics, and aesthetic visuals for the game. The website also describes the game as a “marriage of merge, idle, and card collection to influence races“.
