Singapore will host the final of Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022. The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship is a global tournament of Riot Games that will start on June 14th, 2022 to July 9th, 2022, at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.

The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship which is Riot’s global tournament concludes the global competition of the mobiles title Wild Rift Esports season. This global championship tournament will comprise 24 teams. Here 8 teams will be directly qualified from regional competitions and the rest 16 teams will battle through the play-in stage. The winning team will be awarded a shared prize pool of $2 million.

Previously Europe was going to host this championship. The global pandemic has changed the situation because of various problems regarding visa application timelines. Finally, Riot Games announced the final of the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 to Singapore. Riot Games assured that the teams will enjoy a great experience at this first icon championship.
Slot Allocation and schedule of the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship
Out of 24 teams, 8 teams are from 8 regions. They announced the slot of the 8 regional teams. China and Southeast Asia wild rift icons will have four representatives, and South Korea, EMEA, Latin America, and Brazil will have three teams each. Lastly, Japan and North America will have two representatives each.
Three stages namely the play-in stage, group stage, and knockout stage will be there. The Wild Rift Icon play-in stage will begin from June 14 to 18, the group stage from June 21 to 25, and the knockout stage from July 1 to 9. In the knockout stage, the quarter-finals will be from July 1-2, the semifinals will be from July 5-6, and the finals on July 9.
