Valorant Mobile’s first closed beta test is going on currently in China. It is the mobile version of the extremely popular 5v5 tactical first-person shooter (FPS) game, Valorant.
The confidentiality of visuals and the details has to be maintained since it is a closed beta test. Despite this, certain images have been leaked. These leaks have allowed the people outside China who doesn’t have access to beta see the state of the current UI screen and other details. Presumably, gamers have started taking notes and the results are interesting.
The Observations
The overall game seems to be very similar to the PC version of Valorant. The core activities like buying weapons, forming teams of five players, specific agents having special abilities, the mini map of Ascent (the PC-driven map), and more remain the same.

One of the screenshots reveal the new placement of the UI for touch controls. It has become handier and more user-friendly. Even though it is not the final product, the graphics appear to be quite diligent. The game also includes the original agents from the PC version. So far, familiar agents that have been revealed are Killjoy, Breach, Skye, Phoenix, Sova, Jett, and Reyna. More familiar or unfamiliar agents will be revealed in the future. This is because Riot Games is only in the development stage currently.
Expectations and Anticipation
More screenshots reveal the loading screens and matchmaking. Hence, in this aspect, there isn’t a lot to discuss about. These leaked screenshots have the gamers expecting for more screenshots and video footage. Maybe if a video footage is released, there will be more clarity on the part of controls and movements of the game.
The popularity of Valorant has people very excited for Valorant Mobile. It has become one of the highly anticipated games of 2022. It was confirmed back in June 2021 and is expected to come out this year. Even though there is no official date announced yet, the thrill for this game is already sky high!
