The long-awaited mobile release of Raw Fury’s extremely popular town builder, Townscaper finally has an official release date! Furthermore, starting today, the game is also open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS!
Developer Raw Fury first released Townscaper back in June 2020 for PC. The game was received exceptionally well and currently, the average review rating stands at “overwhelmingly positive”. The company then revealed plans to bring the game to mobile platforms as well in March 2021. Today, almost 6 months after the initial announcement, the game has finally received a confirmed release date! The game will go live on the 20th of October! Interestingly that is not all, starting today the game is also open for pre-registration!

About Townscaper:
The game or toy, as its developers think of it, is more of a relaxing experience rather than an objective or story-driven endeavor. The player is provided with a literal ocean on which he or she is supposed to build his or her own island. This might sound like something which gets boring after a few minutes of playing, but that is not the case at all! The game makes use of visuals that are appealing to the eye and are easy on it as well. It also gives individual properties or attributes to almost every element regarding what it can and cannot do. Raw fury also released the game on Nintendo Switch recently, and the audience took to it similarly well!
Pre-registration:
Starting today, Raw Fury has opened the game up for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. Since Townscaper is a paid game and not free-to-play, iOS users will have to pay the $3.99 price tag before pre-registering. Pre-registration is free on Android and the payment will be made later. You can pre-register for your Android device from here and for your iOS device from here.
Conclusion:
To conclude, Townscaper probably will be one of the biggest releases of this year. Although the fact that it is buy-to-play might affect its popularity in a largely free-to-play market, it still has enough quality to build an audience for itself. Finally, how excited are you for this release? Have you played Townscaper on PC yet? Do you think the game will be received equally well on mobile? Let us know in the comments section!
