TiMi Studios is working on a new project known as Need For Speed Online Mobile

The developer of Pokemon Go and Call of Duty: Mobile, TiMi Studios has been reportedly working on a new project known as Need of Speed Online Mobile. The game is based on an open-world adventure where we will see TiMi Studio join hands with EA. Just not that, Tencent Games known for the success of PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor has also been seen hiring employees for the game. It was first seen in light when Reddit user, RemKiad posted about the fact in his subreddit. Need for Speed Online Mobile will be designed using Unreal Engine 4. So we can expect the graphics of the game to be in 3D that will also support high resolution.

About the game

Need for Speed Online Mobile as the name suggest will be a vast open-world racing mobile game. The game can be expected to be a competitive aspect. Though it has to be highly noted that both Tencent and TimI studios have yet to announce the game officially as the game is under development. So we cannot rely on any release date. The idea about the game originally came from the PC game Need for Speed: World. Another one, Need For Speed: Heat which was a Play Station variant developed by EA gained its fame back in 2019.

There are various job roles released by Tencent. But every role has “Famous IP” mention in it; that signifies every role in the game Need of Speed Online Mobile. There are various different roles- Project Manager, Advance System Planning, Advance Gameplay Planning, Advance Scene Artist, Senior Background Development Engineer, Senior Motion Designer, 3D Scene Art, 3D Scene Lighting Art, Senior Client Development Engineer based around Shenzhen and Shanghai. So Timi is working on an open-world Need For Speed for mobile, according to job offers (codename : Need for Speed online Mobile). The game seems to have made a good progress because it no longer appears in the 3Q21 pipeline, this most likely means it will be in testing phase soon. 2022 ? from needforspeed

In the near future, we can hope to see some new official updates by both the company, Tencent, and TiMi Studios. As the hiring has already started and posting are specified under certain criteria revolving around the game. Such a concept of an open-world racing game isn’t usually seen on mobile.
