The much-awaited game, Tales of Luminaria, finally has a release date! The game will arrive on iOS and Android at the same time, and here is what you need to know!
Game developer Bandai Namco first announced Tales of Luminaria in August at Gamescom 21’s Opening Night Event. Since then, the game has developed quite a bit of hype as well. Following the announcement, Bandai Namco then opened the game up for pre-registration on both iOS and Android in September. Now, almost a month after the pre-registration started, the game finally has a release date! Tales of Luminaria will be releasing globally on both Android and iOS on the 4th of November.
About Tales of Luminaria:
Tales of Luminaria is a new game in the long-running JRPG Tales series. The first game in the series came out in 1995 and since then there have been many additions. Not a lot has been revealed by Bandai Namco about the game, and they have summed up the story as follows,
Each of the 21 protagonists has a different purpose and distinct storyline in which they must follow the path they believe in. Despite frustrating challenges, they grow steadily, and confront them strongly!
Choose a protagonist and help them survive this turbulent world with utmost concentration! You will also meet various characters you have never seen before, yet grow to love them deeply!
Pre-regsitration and Release:
The game has been open for pre-registration since September and if you haven’t pre-registered yourself yet, you can do so from Google Play for your Android device or from the App Store and for your iOS device. The game will be releasing globally on the 4th of November, but gamers in Japan will be able to get their hands on it one day earlier, i.e. on the 3rd of November.
To conclude, the Tales series is one of the most popular J-RPG series and has a massive fan base, especially in Japan. Combining this with Bandai Namco’s expertise in developing games, one can hope that we are in for a delight.
