Tip #1 – Make Yourself Big in Risk Global Domination
This means you do not need to fight hard at the beginning of the game. See, the game is all about strategies and using wit. Initially, I recommend you only attack the areas with two or less than two strengths. This way, you will be able to conquer the territory and make your own easily, and once you strengthen your domains, your opponent will not try to mess with you. It would be best if you also waited for the opportunities to reveal themselves and as you get the chance, make sure to use it and get rid of all the opponents on board.
Tip #2 – Don’t Rush into Conquering a Continent
Most beginners make this mistake by rushing the game and trying to conquer all the continents and territories, but this is the worst way to win the game. So instead, you must act smartly and conquer the places after analyzing every move. If you conquer a continent in the beginning, many of your opponents will try to infiltrate it; hence, it’s always better to try to conquer other areas, fortify available territories, and only conquer the mainland when you have enough workforce.
Tip #3 – Do Not Over Spilt Your Armies in Risk Global Domination
It’s always best not to split your army is too much. Instead, make sure that you conquer the low-strength territories first. This way, you will have enough troops to fortify other areas and have fewer chances of getting attacked by the opponents. If you split too much of your group, you might not be able to conquer other places.
Tip #4 – Retreat When Necessary
When you see your opponent has higher strength and will likely conquer your half of the territory. Hence, it’s always better to retreat and put your forces into an area you think would be more advantageous and let your opponent conquer other areas. After this, check the areas with less strength and attack the opponents. This way, even though the game would be slow, you have a higher chance of winning, and there is nothing wrong with retreating. Risk is always about taking a rest, so if you think you have strength, match two and then make sure you attack them before they attack you.
