Krafton and Tencent always release a beta version of PUBG Mobile before the official release for players to test out so that they can clear out all issues and also gather a response of the player-base to all the changes they make. Currently, we are running version 1.4 and the beta version for 1.5 has just gone live. This update is available via an invitation code and if you would like to get access to the beta, then we have you covered.
How to download the 1.5 beta in PUBG Mobile
First off, you need an invitation code to be able to download the beta. You can get this directly from the PUBG Mobile app. Go into the Events section, click on Recommended, then within the Beta Test Invitation section, click on Get It. This will redirect you to the beta server website from where you will be granted your unique invitation code. With this, comes the option of installing the 1.5 beta update. This will update your game. And voila! You are now a beta tester. You can now report any bugs or glitches you see as this will really help the developers allow everyone to have a smooth experience.
Now that you know how to install this beta, let’s talk about all the new features introduced in this update.
New Features in PUBG Mobile
Air Conveyer Launcher

Like the name suggests, the Air Conveyer Launcher will allow players to go BOOM into the air! These launchers will be spread all around the map and you can choose in the direction you want to launch in. This will help you quickly traverse long distances on the map. This makes YOU the rocket in the rocket launcher. This is our favorite part of the update
Erangel Transit System

To make traversal even more easier, PUBG Mobile plans to introduce Hyperlines in Erangel. Ever seen the maglev trains in Japan? These high-speed trains are just like that except they run without tracks. You can board them from particular stations where they stop for ten seconds. Another way to fast-travel around the map.
Robotic Dogs

Urban areas will have special robo-dogs which serve as kinds of scanners. These robots will in the area for high-quality combat supplies. You can then go equip these supplies for that winner winner chicken dinner.
Anti-Gravity Motorcycle

No, you won’t just float into the air in this cool looking motorcycle but you will be able to levitate at a low altitude, over land as well as water. Is fast, looks cool, can hover. What more would you need?
New Weapon: MG3 Light Machine Gun

This update will bring the new heavy weapon class- light machine gun which uses 7.62mm ammo and has a fire rate between 660-990 rounds per minute. You’ll only find this beast in airdrops to be on the lookout for them.
New Graphics Settings

Consoles and high-end PCs are hard to get anyway, but not everyone has a high-end phone either. So for you low-end phone users, this update brings superb news. There is a new graphics settings that will further lower the settings thereby increasing the FPS, making gameplay more smoother.
Consumables/Throwables
For throwables and consumables, a new wheel has been added which will allow you to easily switch between or pick items. There is also a Quick Throw feature which instantly use the current throwable icon.
Other Features
- Prior Air Summoning Device- This is something you can use to summon airdrops. Remember, the new LMG is available only in airdrops so use these to get the new weapons.
- Binoculars- They do what you think they would. You can spot enemies at a distance using them.
- Remaining Ammo Indicator- There will now be colour-coded methods of indicating the amount of ammo left. Yellow colour indicates less than 25% ammo and red indicates less than 10%.
- Victory Statues and Snaps- The MVP of the game can summon a victory statue on a particular location and use photo mode to take a snapshot of it.
That’s all for this beta version. We will update you when the official 1.5 update launches. Till then, enjoy the new features and report what bugs you see!
