A new MMORPG is in development from Nat games – Project DX; a game similar to its 2016 project Durango: Wild Lands.
Durango: Wild Lands was a game way ahead of its time with a small community; but was unfortunately shut down for reasons which are still unknown. Now a new subsidiary of Nexon – Nat Games is now hiring a new staff under the banner of DX Studio; to work on a new project which will be based on Durango.

What we have inferred from the job postings is that Project DX will be an MMORPG that will be released for the global market. The hiring criteria is to develop a global environment. Nat Games’ new team comprises of a team that have previously worked on games like V4, HIT, and Overhit.
Why was Durango: Wild Lands shutdown?

Being one of the most awaited MMORPG which came out as a beta game in 2016; it gathered quite a fan base for itself at its official launch by January 2018. It was a shock for all fans in 2019 when the publishers decided to discontinue the game for reasons which were unclear.
The game had a community of over 12 million players over 229 countries, but probably the players weren’t spending any real-time on the game; hence the shutdown.
Project DX – could be a game changer
Though Durango was a game with a huge untapped potential, which led to its untimely suspension; Project DX seems to be a promising prospect that will make up for its predecessor’s failure.
So far this is all the news there is on Project DX, we will update further on the topic as new information is released.
