Princess Connect! Re: Dive is a Japanese Role-Playing Game (RPG) developed by Cygames and published by Crunchyroll Games, LLC. The game is the sequel of ‘Princess Connect!’, released on February 18, 2015, and ended its services in June 2016. CygamesPictures also aired its adaption as an anime television series from April 6, 2020, to June 29, 2020, and the second season of the anime is also announced.

Princess Connect! Re: Dive is a real-time action-role playing game. In this game, you can make a team of 5 players and participate in various modes, such as the main quest, Player vs. Player (PvP) arena mode. The unique thing about the game is, there is no male character. There are over 50 playable characters in the game, and all of them are female and generally called ‘Heroines.’
Obtaining a new character is possible via two ways: gacha mechanic and in exchange for character specific Memory Pieces. But the latter is not available for the event-exclusive characters. Players can also form clans and participate in the Clan Battles similar to raid battles of a typical MMORPG. Also, the clan room comes with the feature of using text and in-game emojis to chat.
All characters of the game come with a unique Union Burst (a powerful skill which can be manually activated by the player as soon as their Union Burst Meter, also known as TP in-game, is charged), two Skills (which are automatically activated at predetermined times based on character), an EX Skill (which are stat-gaining skills that are activated on the start of each battle) and an automatic regular attack.
Players cannot control the activation of characters’ skills and attacks except for Union Burst. However, all the PvP arena modes are on auto-play, where the character’s Union Burst gets activated as soon as their TP is fully charged.
Princess Connect! Re: Dive Release Date:
Crunchyroll Games will be releasing Princess Connect! Re: Dive in March 2021 for both Android and iOS devices. Though no official announcement, Princess Connect! Re: Dive is expected to release on March 1, 2021.
