Pokémon Unite, the first-ever strategic team battle game by Pokémon has been pre-registered over 5 million times on mobile. The game is already available for the Nintendo Switch While the Android and IOS versions will be out on September 22nd.
About the game
Pokémon Unite is a 5-on-5 strategic team battle game where trainers around the world can head to Aeos Island to compete in Unite battles and score the most points within the allotted time. The game involves players defeating wild Pokémon, leveling up, evolving them, and preventing the opposing team from scoring points.
Pokémon Unite features
The game has an array of interesting features, with the help of a special technology developed using Aeos energy, trainers will be able to dress their Pokémon in a variety of outfits (with new styles arriving regularly). Pokémon will also be able to use Unite moves which are only possible during Unite Battles. The other prominent features of the game are ranked matches, different communication tools, and cross-Platform play.
Pokémon Unite Pre-registration
The Pre-registration of Pokémon Unite had already begun and the game developers promised rewards if certain milestones were met. The first reward was available when the game had hit 2.5 million pre-registrations with the participants being able to receive a Pikachu Unite license as a gift. The game has now hit 5 million pre-registrations and the rewards for that milestone is a special Holowear-Festival Style: Pikachu. The official Twitter account of Pokémon Unite has now announced a reward of 1000 additional Aeos Tickets to unlock if the pre-registration hits 7.5 million.
It is also worth noting that the players can log in to the Nintendo Switch version of the game to receive a Zeraora Unite license as a gift. Players of the mobile version also have till October 31st, 2021 to log in and claim the rewards.
