The long-awaited third part of EA’s super-popular series, “Plants vs Zombies”, Plants vs Zombies 3 is finally back on track with a soft launch!
EA first announced Plants vs Zombies 3 way back in 2019 and the game received a soft launch in 2020. After the soft launch, there was no news or update from EA regarding the game, and it was believed the game has been dropped. This however turned out to be false and EA revealed the plans for the game’s development haven’t been dropped. They claimed to have done it to iron out the glitches. Whatever might have been the case, the game has now been soft-launched in 2 regions, Australia and the Philippines.
About Plants vs Zombies 3:
PvZ 3 is set in “Neighborville” and takes you back to the lawn where it all started. Zomboss’ army has taken over the town, and you are the last line of defense against the zombies. It features all the lovable favorites like sunflower, which will help you in your fight against Zomboss’ Army. The game this time features new areas and also focuses on adding an element of puzzles to the standard strategy gameplay.

We want old fans to revel in the experience and strategy, meet up with old friends, and help Dave all over Town — all while bringing in a whole new generation to help defend against the ever looming threat of Dr. Zomboss. So we took the time to start at the basics and brought back things that made the original game great! Sunflower is back to help you plant, and the lawnmower will keep you safe (at least until it runs out of power). We’ve blended the strategy of past PvZ games with fun puzzles built around your plant team and the lawn, making every battle unique and exciting!

How to Download:
Currently, the game is under a soft launch in Australia and the Philippines. So, if you are located in either of those places, you can directly download the game from Google’s Play Store by clicking here. The minimum requirements are Android 7 or higher and 2 GB of RAM.
Other than that, no confirmed release date has been announced yet. It is believed that the game will progress through soft launches quickly. Especially because it has been under development for a while now.
Conclusion:
To conclude, it looks like PvZ 3 well and truly is on its way! Which is a big deal for the mobile gaming community. Since both the previous parts have way over 100M downloads on Google’s Play Store. This also probably is the reason for the delay, EA probably didn’t want to spoil the game’s reputation. They would surely be hoping that this third installment gets similar love and praise whenever it comes out. So, how excited are you after reading this news?
