Nautical Life 2 is set in a story form, which is beneficial for first-time players. Nestor Lionel is the narrator of the game. Win a FIF Fisherman/Fisherwoman Card by taking an exam for the FIF Championship. The Card will bring you many benefits like having access to better fishing areas and being able to join professional competitions.
Log in daily to collect rewards like money, recipes for energy boosts, wood, apple juice, etc. Below are some tips and tricks to get you started.
Tip #1- Characters and Gameplay
Select your character at the beginning of the game. you can choose to be a fisherman or a fisherwoman. Then choose a name for your character and begin the game with Nestor Lionel guiding you.
To start fishing, tap on the water surrounding you to throw the bait. Do not throw too far or else you won’t catch a fish quickly. When you are successful, the fish will try to resist you. At the top of the screen, you can see the fish’s resistance. If the meter reaches the left you will lose. When the meter reaches the right end, you win. Remember, the fish will pull to the left the whole time to not let you win.
There are power bars on both your side and the fish’s side, which will sway. The bigger the difference between your bar and the fish’s, the bigger pull you have to give. Tap on the Rod button the moment your bar is higher than the fish bar. If you take too long, the fish will get away.
Tip #2- Discover New Fishes
Catch new fishes like mullets, shrimps, anchovies, and on occasion powerful sharks! After you can catch a new fish, the fish will be added to your collection of discoveries. They will be under the Inventory option from the Backpack section. Cook the fish for an energy boost to continue playing.
Tip #3- Island Life
Nestor Lionel will also teach you how to survive on the island. He will teach you how to cook fish, collect resources, and many more. You need food for an energy boost. For that, use tolls to collect wood and stones for a bonfire. To cook, tap on the Backpack button to access recipes, then tap on Crafts to cook recipes with the resources available. The cooked items are stored under Inventory in the Consumable Goods section. When you are out of energy, cook and eat to replenish.
Keep dangerous creatures at bay. Investigate the island regularly. Tap on the Shop icon for boats and stuff. Use the joystick on the left to control the boat’s direction and speed. Tap on the Land Here button on the right to return to dry land.
Tip #4- Quests
Access quests from the Quest icon at the right-hand side of the screen. Complete them to get money rewards. Gain XP points when you gain experience to level up your character.
