Nautical Honor is an exciting One Piece mobile game where you can take your beloved characters and go on your quest to find the One Piece, through battling waves of enemies. Although an idle game, there is plenty to do, with quite a complex set menus to navigate. Here will be everything you need to now to properly propel yourself into the game.
On the bottom of the screen will be the five menus used to navigate the important parts of the game. Two are very simple and self-explanatory, the guild the section and the summon hero section. below are the more complex parts of the main menu, broken down.
Progressing through the adventure
In the adventure menu, you will firstly see a road with one of your heroes battling through. This track is an infinite road of enemies, for your heroes to cumulate rewards, such as money, EXP, and other such resources to enhance your characters. You could let them run the road forever, or you could ‘challenge the boss’ of that articular level to move on. You will select your heroes to fight the enemies in a quick turn-based auto-battle. Once you have defeated the enemies, you will proceed to the next level, and the idle rewards will be slightly better.
At the bottom of the screen, small snippets of narrative will be dropped every few levels. The map can be used to navigate between levels, and any story missed can be easily caught up on. The levels are separated into chapters, that correspond to different arcs of the anime. You will be rewarded from each level outright, and also by claiming chapter rewards from a separate menu in the top right corner.
The idle rewards will never be superior than the stage’s rewards, so proceed when you can and don’t rely on the idling rewards.
Strengthening your heroes
The next menu is all about your heroes. There are many to collect in Nautical Honor, and the game doesn’t shy away from rewarding you with them!
Money is the driving force when it comes to hero upgrades, and each hero can be levelled 20 times, with XP passes, before they hit a cap. To ‘breakthrough’ the cap, you must use money and breakthrough passes to increase their level cap by an additional 20.
You will also earn gear through your travels, and can ‘quick assign’ it to your heroes, increasing their attributes. You can also, using enhancement stones, enhance the gear to make them stronger.
Additionally, you can cultivate your heroes, which offers three more advanced ways to enhance your heroes’ Power.
Also on the hero menu is the ‘Finishing Move’ tab, which allows you to upgrade your finishing moves. These can be upgraded, enhanced, and reshaped to improve the attributes and create powerful attacks sure to destroy the enemy.
Exploring the main city
The main city is a myriad of reward menus and quests and activities. For your own sake, I will not comment on the numerous reward menus, and will only go over the vital ones for your initial understanding.
Firstly, there is the market and the store, which may be worth perusing to check for any deals of stock that pique your interest.
There is also the arena, where you can formulate a lineup and battle for ranking on the leaderboard for prizes.
The instance menu offers a handful of avenues to earn specific rewards that you can instantly claim by ‘challenging’ the stages of different instances. Think of them as battles that you can only do a certain amount of times per day, that you don’t actually have to fight to claim the rewards.
The trials of Nautical Honor are interesting, as they see you almost take on a mini boardgame, with dice, and you get rewards with each tile, sometimes having to fight some enemies. It is another avenue to claim resources and rewards.
These are the essential menus that you will see here, aside from reward menus and social menus.
