Mobile Legends’ third instalment of the International tournament, the M3 World Championship, is set to kick off on December 6th, 2021.
The Red Carpet Rolls
The long-awaited Mobile Legends World Championship is finally here! This time, the tournament is the biggest with a huge prize pool of $800,000 US Dollars up for grabs. Such a large prize pool is the largest in the history of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Electronic Sports. 16 teams from around the world will be competing in Singapore for world titles and prize pool shares. The tournament will be offline which will bump up the atmosphere even more!
BTK participated in the M3 World Championship through North American Qualifier which was open to everyone. The team is formed of Victor, FwydChickn, SHARK, MobaZane, and ZIA. BTK’s performance has astonished everyone. Even though it was their first-ever tournament, they have gone on to win the 2021 North America Cup as well as North America Community tournament. It’ll be nerve-wracking to watch how they fare against more experienced competitors like Onic Esports, RRQ Hoshi, and Blacklist International in the M3 World Championship.
The Fixtures
In Group C, BTK will meet two MPL Singapore champions EVOS SG and MPL Cambodia winners See You Soon and NAVI. Fans can watch on Facebook, YouTube, or TikTok on December 8th to see how the team competes on the group stage. The group stage will have a round-robin system. However, the play-offs will have a setup of double elimination. All the matches will be a best-of-five, which means the team with the most wins in five, wins. Till the second round, all the lower matches will be the best of the three. But after that, it has a format of best of five. Finally, the Grand Finale will be a Best of Seven matches to decide who wins the crown. The Tournament will start from December 8 to December 24, 2021.
A new game pass has also been unveiled with the Championship on its toes. A brand new Battle Pass has been released with more rewards and gifts. Fans will get Diamonds and chances to vote for their favorite team!
Mobile Legends is one of the biggest mobile games in the world with millions of fans spread all over the world. They have also collaborated with different IP’s like Land of the Dawn, Transformers, Manny Pacquiao, and Star Wars.
