The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the very first time. In this Southeast Asia Cup there will be twelve teams will compete for Southeast Asia’s supreme squad’s title for a combined prize pool of USD 300,000.
According to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup management is going to held between 11 – 19 June 2022, this year’s tournament marks its return to an offline LAN competition, and Myanmar as one of the competing countries and yes the fans can look forward to the group draw held on May 29, 2022, where further details of the group stage format where going to be shared. From the nine countries the players are going to join (Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand). So, now lets take a look on the full list of the twelve participating and qualifying Southeast Asian countries which were as follows:
- Indonesia – S9 Champion, S9 Runner-up
- Philippines – S9 Champion, S9 Runner-up
- Malaysia – S9 Champion, S9 Runner-up
- Singapore – S3 Champion, S3 Runner-up
- Cambodia – 2022 Spring Split Champion Runner-up, 2022 Spring Split Champion
- Myanmar – Champion (through qualifying tournament)
- Laos, Vietnam, Thailand – Champion (through a qualifying tournament featuring all three countries)
Since the year 2017, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup was previously hosted offline in Jakarta (Indonesia) and Manila (Philippines). This tournament seeks to bring out the best of MLBB’s SEA teams form which they can compete together at an offline venue at Kuala Lumpur.
