Sometimes it’s hard to know what you want from your birthday. At least it is for us mere mortals. If you’re Klee from Genshin Impact the answer is simple – you want to be projected on the side of one of the most famous buildings in LA for all the world to see. And her wish came true this past Monday.
To celebrate Klee’s first anniversary, she took over the east wall of the Roosevelt Hotel with a 3D mapped projection. And if that wasn’t cool enough, this was the first time that particular wall has ever had that sort of projection zapped onto it – but what Klee wants, Klee gets apparently.
The projection itself showed Klee having a lovely old time, getting special Genshin Impact themed cakes and reacting adorably to the whole shebang, just like you’d expect Klee to do. The projection lasted all night too, which is usually the way with the best parties, we’ve found.
Plenty of Knights of Flavonius – real world players and fans of Genshin Impact – showed up to check out what Klee was getting up to. And it’s fair to say that they weren’t disappointed – this was an event that anyone who saw is going to remember for a long time.
