The movie has also received a few sequels recently, which have been received fairly positively by the audience as well. All of this goes to show that the Jumanji franchise is a pretty massive one. This probably was the reason which motivated developer Marmalade Game Studio to bring the game to mobile. While it will be coming to mobiles soon, currently it is available on Steam for PC.
About Jumanji: The Curse Returns:
Jumanji: The Curse Returns is based on the original film, which came out 26 years ago. Coincidentally, 26 years also is the same amount of time for which Robin Williams’ character Allan Parrish is stuck in the game for. Jumanji: The Curse Returns brings to the players a modernized version of the original board game. The players will be playing with 3 other people to form a team of 4 and interact with each other in real-time. As the players play through the board, they will face zebras, elephants, lions, and a lot more, just like in the movie. Furthermore, the players will also have a bunch of power-ups which they will be able to use as they try to reach the center of the board to complete the game and save the town from it.
Release and Pre-registration:
Jumanji: The Curse Returns will be releasing for mobile on the 17th of November, It will not be free-to-play and will come with a price tag of $2.99. Currently, the game is open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. You can pre-register for the game from Google Play for your Android device and from the App Store for your iOS device.
