This is a beginner’s guide to IdleOn – Idle Game MMO.
IdleOn – Idle Game MMO is an offline single-player casual simulation idle RPG, which is rated 4.5-star and above in both Google Play Store and Apple Play, and has over 1M+ downloads. This game is brought to you by game developer LavaFlame2, who promises to give you “long-term honest fun, instead of just trying to make a quick buck”. As awesome as it sounds, you can enjoy idle gameplay, 24 hours a day! You can have access to the Discord link from the game homepage.
Quirky yet calm and soothing background music accompanies the game which is quite relevant to the outer space themes in intro gameplay. You can play along with a guide to explore their crazy world at ease.
There is a Massive Troll that will underestimate you and your powers and skills from the beginning. Do not let those insults ruin your game!
Tip 1: Tools are your best friend
With difficult enemies, you will be suggested tools to craft yourselves and defeat those enemies. You can have access to the raw materials that will be lying around. The game guide will ask you to help them in tool making. For example, I needed to defeat the purple aliens to make progress in the game. So, I used Alien Logs and Starlight Ore to make myself a Flesh Reaper, which is a spear weapon.
You can check your raw materials from the Items Inventory icon. Then you have to drag the newly made weapon into the Weapon slot to kill the more powerful enemies.
Tip 2: Create your Characters
In IdleOn – Idle Game MMO, you can name your character, and assign them a star sign, like The Buff Guy, Flexo Bendo, or The Book Worm, and also assign them a gender. I created a character who is a Flexo Bendo. Your characters will slowly learn skills like wood cutting, mining, smithing, alchemy, fishing, and many more.
Tip 3: Know the Town lobby
The Town lobby is like the homepage of IdleOn – Idle Game MMO. Here you can find various things like Portals to travel between worlds, a smithing unit to build weapons, a Storage Chest to keep aside items from your inventory, a Shop to restock items, and characters like Scripticus, Mr. Pigibank, and Grasslands Gary to provide you with knowledge, wisdom, and challenges.
Scripticus will provide you with quests. You have to level up, craft armor, master skills, fight bosses, and complete hundreds of quests before you can become a legend again. Scripticus will basically keep you grounded from being a “macho with little to no skills”. You can keep a track of the progress of the quests by clicking on the Codex icon.
Mr. Pigibank is like a Post Master. He will help you to arrange your finances. Also, being a Post Master, he will give you quests to find his precious Stamp Collections.
Grasslands Gary is the Taskmaster. You can talk to him when you have reached level 14, and then he can talk to you about World 1 Tasks.
Tip 4: Grading points
You get 3 talent points every time you level up your Class Level. You also get 1 talent point every time you level up a skill that you specialize in. There are also special star talents to collect, which use separate talent points.
One of the many plus points of IdleOn – Idle Game MMO is that when you are offline, all your characters continue where you left them, gathering resources, crafting items, and defeating enemies.
