Collect and invest in your taxi drivers
As you keep unlocking taxis in the game, you’ll need more taxi drivers to drive them. Without one, you’ll typically have to manually tap and send your taxi across town. When you give a taxi to a taxi driver, they drive it around town on their own, make some money, and then return to the break room to continue the cycle. When it comes to getting a taxi driver, you can do so by buying them from the shop using diamonds, the premium currency. But that’s not a very F2P-friendly way of getting them, so there are some missions and tasks you can do in the game to earn them like using the helicopter or completing a dash.
All the taxi drivers have their special rarity. The rarer the character, the better their stats are. The coffee that you earn from upgrading items will help you level up your drivers and make them much more efficient. When you have the same card as a driver, you can also promote them. When it comes to leveling up drivers, regardless of rarity, we recommend that you do it equally for all of them. This is because when playing dash, you’ll require drivers that have been updated.
Remember to participate in Dash
This is a mini-game available in Idle Taxi Tycoon. In the dash game, you must assemble a group of drivers with sufficient dash power to complete the stage’s requirements. There are a total of 24 stages to complete, each of which is broken into rounds. Winning the final round or stage wins you a new driver or extra cards to promote an existing driver.

Any idle game nowadays will have a ton of ads in it. But those ads can also give you many boosts to progress faster in the game. There are different types of boosts that you can go for. The first one is the 2x multiplier which doubles the revenue you earn for 15 minutes in real-time. It can be stacked up to 2 hours. The other kind of boost is the Instant Cash boost where watching an ad gives you a big amount of cash. The third kind is increasing the speed of the taxis, granting you the revenue faster than usual. The last one is the one you get after completing Dash, letting you get double the rewards.
