Hunt Royale is a classic battle royale game launched by Boombit Games for both Android and iOS. The game involves using your characters and their attacks to fight some evil-looking monsters and gain experience. I have played this game for a few days now, and it is very addictive and fun. Here’s my Hunt Royale Game review.

Gameplay

The gameplay is very straightforward and easy to understand. You have to hunt down various monsters like snakes, Rock Golem, Death Knight, Ghoul, etc. There is a total of four game modes that you can play. They are Classic mode, Co-op, Boss hunt, and Bounty Hunter.

In the classic mode, you play with three other players to fight a wave of monsters. The last man standing wins the game. If more than one player is left after the time of the round ends, the player with greater number of points wins. You get these points by killing the monsters. The second mode is Co-op, in which you play with one other player. In this mode, you both have to defend the king against a wave of monsters. The third mode is the boss hunt which you play with three other players. Here you have to fight an endless wave of monsters and then take down the boss to gain levels. Last but not least, we have the bounty hunter mode. In this mode, you fight with nine other players and fight each other in a classic battle royale fashion. You also have some interesting events which are definitely worth checking out.

Controls

The controls of the game are pretty simple and intuitive. You can move around the map with the joystick. Note the fact that the character auto-shoots its attack only when you stand still. A small tip, keep moving around after every shot so that you dodge away from the blow but still hit the monster with your attack.

The Positives

Hunt Royale has some great graphics and amazing mechanics. There are around 32 different characters (hunters) with great design and abilities. You can level up quite easily and get good rewards without needing to pay for them. The game has very few advertisements, and they are easily skippable, so it doesn’t ruin your playing experiences. But you can surely try watching 1-2 advertisements because the rewards you get from them are quite promising. This can help you level up even faster. The game style and art style is very much similar to ArchHero. Playing this game brought back some nice memories from around two years ago when I used to play ArchHero.

The Negatives

I can’t really think of many negative points for this game. I totally loved playing Hunt Royale. The only thing I found a little troublesome was the attacks. The time span between stopping movement and the casting of the game is a little more than required. But you can easily adapt yourself to this, and after playing the game for some time, you won’t even notice it

The Verdict

Overall, playing this game was a great experience. It was entertaining, addictive, and fun. You can definitely play this game to have a good hunting experience in your spare time of the day. If you have played ArchHero then you are definitely going to love this game. It has some similarities to remind you of ArchHero but also has a lot of unique stuff for you to discover and enjoy. Happy hunting!
