Honkai Star Rail was leaked a while ago, soon after the leaks developer miHoYo officially announced the game as well. Along with the game’s announcement, miHoYo also opened up sign-ups for the game’s closed beta. The sign-ups were then closed in a week. Now, the developers have decided and revealed more details for the soon upcoming closed beta. Here’s what you need to know about it!
About the Honkai Star Rail’s closed beta:
Following the closure of the sign-up period, developer miHoYo will now be starting the game’s closed beta. The beta will be starting from the 27th of October. Although this news sounds pretty exciting, there is one problem, unfortunately, this first closed beta will only be arriving for iOS and PC, so Android users will not be getting their hands on the game just yet. In this announcement, the developer hasn’t announced when the closed beta will be ending. It is believed that a similar beta testing process to that of Genshin Impact will be followed this time as well.
In miHoYo’s typical fashion, after the closed beta, all progress made by the players will be wiped. The developers claim this is done for the benefit of those who could not register or sign up for the closed betas at first. People also believe that just like 3 beta tests were conducted for Genshin Impact, something similar will be done for Honkai Star Rail. Therefore, it’s believed that the game will officially be released halfway through 2022. The minimum specifications for the devices on which the first closed beta will be running are as follows.
- iOS: Any device with an A12 chip or better
- PC: Windows 7, i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better
