Hoyoverse has surprised players all of a sudden by revealing a new, anticipated character. Shikanoin Heizou has finally had his official art being released by Genshin Impact. Their’s official Twitter account tweeted out the art along with some information about him. There was a lot of discussion regarding his appearance before his release, but now we have confirmation. Let’s look into what he would be like and what can we expect.
About Shikanoin Heizou:
The upcoming new character, Heizou is now confirmed to be a 4-star Anemo Catalyst wielder. That’s right, we have our first male Catalyst-wielding character in Genshin Impact. His vision and weapon were a matter of discussion in the entire fandom, now all of us can rest with ease. He’s originally for Inazuma and was first mentioned in Kamisato Ayato’s voice lines.
Heizou’s life is unknown, however, he finally found work as a detective with the Tenryou Commission. He once worked on a case with the Bantan Sango Detective Agency, but its owner, Sango, now despises him and his investigating tactics.
Heizou was a rebellious young man who hated obeying rules. Even though he calls himself a detective and works for the Tenryou Commission, his investigations appear to be unrelated to any governmental rule. His superior, Kujou Sara, does not like him for it. But she decided to keep him since he constantly delivers results.
Heizou is “not the easiest person to get along with,” according to Thoma. Sango now calls him a “liar and a charlatan” and argues that they “aren’t even in the same line of business,” although he is the only person who can keep up with Sango’s cognitive processes.
When will Heizou be playable in Genshin Impact?
It is not been confirmed when he will be playable yet. But some trusted sources have speculated for Heizou to come with the Genshin Impact 2.8 version update. Kazuha is also said to make an appearance in 2.8 so players have a lot of Primogems to save. Even though he’s a 4-star character, they are not always confirmed like the 5-star characters. You can start saving from now with the compensation rewards and the 2.6 events.
