Hugely popular Japanese game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! Feat. Hatsune Miku to be released globally as Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!
Popular game developer Sega has announced the global release of Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! Feat. Hatsune Miku as Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage. The game first came out in Japan in September 2020. The audience received the game very well, and it has managed to garner over 5 million downloads! Sega also announced that they will be collaborating with Colorful Palette for this game’s development. This was revealed as a part of the 14th-anniversary celebration of the creation of Hatsune Miku!
About Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage:
Hatsune Miku is the most popular voice synthesizer in the world. It is developed and owned by Crypton Future Media and has been put to use in over 100,000 songs and has even performed numerous sold-out 3-D concerts worldwide!
The story is set in Shibuya, Tokyo, where a girl is walking through the street and comes across an LCD Screen displaying Hatsune Miku. When the girl returns home, she discovers a song named “Untitled” on her phone. This makes her very curious and she plays it. As soon as she does that, she is surrounded by white light and reaches an unknown place. There, she sees Hatsune who invites her to sing.
Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage features both a single-player mode and a mode where players can play with their friends. Furthermore, It features more than 20 popular characters from the world of vocaloids like Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, KAITO, and MEIKO. Additionally, these characters will be split into 5 groups, namely, Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP!, Vivid BAD SQUAD, Wonderlands x Showtime, and 25-ji, Nightcord de. The game also features a gacha system, which allows the players to rank up their characters and grow into the game.
How to download and release date:
As of now, no global release date has been announced for the game, but gamers in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan can get their hands on the game from the 30th of September.
