This time around, Genshin Impact is partnering with Twitch for the Genshin Impact Twitch Event. The recent method to get primogems was announced by MiHoYo on HoYoLab. The event uses an extension called ‘Paimon Extension on Twitch’.
So, by watching a Genshin Impact streamer on Twitch, you will be able to get 60 primogems. The event lasts until the 31st of August, so make sure to grab those sweet primogems. Without further ado, let’s get started with the juicy details.
How To Get Primogems In The Genshin Impact Twitch Event
Step 1 – Go To Twitch.tv To Start The Genshin Impact Twitch Event
First up, go to your web browser, and head over to twitch.tv, or click here. There, create an account, if you don’t have one. After, the login or registration part is done, check out Genshin Impact streamers. Usually, the event will be for affiliated content creators.
So, if they are online, that is the streamer, you will be able to see the Paimon extension. Also, make sure to like the streamer’s stream too. Please do note that you will only be able to like, and redeem the code once for one account.
Step 2 – Click The Buttons
Once, you see an online streamer, you will be able to see a Paimon, and a like bar. So, click the like bar, then proceed to click on the rewards chest. Then, Twitch will ask you for authentication, so click on ‘Grant Access‘.
After doing all of that, you will be able to see a pop up with ‘Collect Reward’, so click on it. Then, you will get a code. Sometimes, the code or the extension might not be visible, and that is because of the size. To fix that issue, zoom out, or switch over to theatre mode. Also, make sure to copy the code!
Step 3 – Redeeming The Code
There are 2 methods for redeeming the code you got, one is by redeeming it in-game, or the other is through the website. We will go over each method.
In-game Method
- Open up Genshin Impact on your device.
- Go to the Paimon Menu.
- Select settings, then proceed onto accounts, and you will be able to see redeem code.
- Paste or write down the code you got.
- Lastly, click on the Exchange button.
Website Method
- Go to the Genshin Impact on your web browser, or click here.
- Login to your account, with the correct server, nickname.
- Then enter in your redeem code, and click redeem.
Step 4 – Claiming The Reward Of The Genshin Impact Twitch Event
Lastly, after some time, launch your game, and go to the in-game mailbox. Then you will be able to claim your reward from there. Voila, you got yourself 60 free primogems, by supporting a content creator.
