They also announced the launch of the 2.8 version which will happen on the 13th of July. The version will be called “Hidden Dreams in the Depth.” But the Livestream for the 2.7 version just happened, and there is a lot to go through. So let’s jump right into it!

Genshin Impact 2.7 Banners:

Finally, players will be able to summon for long-awaited Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Along with them, Hoyoverse also announced reruns of Xiao and Arataki Itto. We can expect Yelan and Xiao to appear in Phase 1 of 2.7 with Noelle, Barbara, and Yanfei as the 4-stars. Arataki Itto will be alongside Kuki Shinobu in Phase 2. Players are surprised that Xiao is already getting a rerun since his last one in 2.4 itself, but it is not out of place for him to appear now since he plays a big part in the Archon Quest. When 2.7 fully drops, you can expect a detailed guide from us for all of the characters, so definitely be on the lookout.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Weapons:

Aqua Simulacra, Yelan’s BiS 5-star weapon will appear on the Weapon banner in Phase 1 of Version 2.7. It has a base ATK of 44 with a Crit DMG stat of 19.2%. The HP of the character will be boosted by 16%. The DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is raised by 20% when there are opponents around. Whether the character is on-field or not, this will take effect. All Yelan Mains who want to build the perfect Yelan, this is the top-priority weapon for you.
Genshin Impact 2.7 All Events:
Perilous Trails:

The new Archon Quest and a new type of game mode (combat challenge) are included. Yanfei, Yelan, Itto, and Kuki Shinobu will partner up with the Traveller when they become lost deep in the Chasm in the Archon quest. We also find out that Xiao is conducting his own investigation in the Chasm. There, the group will face a crisis and will have to work together to survive a fascinating encounter. The Yakshas have a strong link to what transpired in the Chasm, and Xiao appears to be obsessed with the Area. (We’re incredibly delighted because the trailer also showed the other traveler sibling!)
Realms of Guile and War:

The combat challenge. Players will be constantly fighting opponents within the challenge domain. A round is defined as three challenges completed. The first three domains will have three rounds, while the last domain will have six. After each round, you must rearrange your party according to the domain’s rules.
For example, in the next round, just one member of the previous party can be used in one of the domains, while everyone else goes into recovery mode. Two characters will be chosen at random in another realm and will be unable to continue the combat. Travelers can choose from a variety of trail characters. They can also earn benefits by equipping 3 Statergems per fighting round. You will gain Primogems, Ascension materials, and also, a new 4-star weapon Fading Twilight (Bow).
A Muddy Bizarre Adventure:

Some murky, mud-like substances flood out of the caverns and mines in the Chasm for some reason, and a Sumeru scholar helps us in resolving the situation. We have to deal with constantly oozing dark mud and enemies that have been buffed due to it. We can clean the mud and fight the monsters with the help of Pursina Spikes, and the spike will purify the surrounding region while recharging itself. Monsters can attack the spikes and deactivate them, therefore you must defeat them as quickly as possible. The spike can also help destroy enemies by using shockwaves and debuffing them as the event progresses. Every stage will present its own set of challenges.
The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorius Drumalong Event:

Another fun musical event! Kuki Shinobu has been studying law in Liyue, and we have a special ceremony planned to commemorate her graduation. Players will be given a drum, which they must match to the rhythm of the song in the mini-game. You must beat the drums to the music in this rhythm game. Because there will be notes that need tapping and holding, you’ll need to match your tapping style. You’ll be able to play alongside some of your favorite characters. As with the previous musical events, you will be rewarded with an instrument, in this case, a drum.
Core of the Apparatus:

A robot-building event. A Material Collector will be given to players by a toy seller in Fontaine. Collecting the source material, Elemental charge, and Core activation are the three steps you must complete. This will create a robot that you may use to decorate your Serenitea Pot. The robots will be able to do a wide range of model kinds and animations, with one particular robot capable of performing all of them. In your Serenitea Pot, you can put up to four robots.
Kuki Shinobu Hangout Event:

A usual hangout event involving Kuki Shinobu. We can’t wait to learn more about her and play through the whole event!
Ending Note:
Overall, this looks like a fun-filled patch. Players have been very patient about its launch, and despite the Covid situation, Hoyoverse has delivered more than we expected. Till then, we can enjoy our last moments in the long-running 2.6 version!
