Finally, the long-awaited Square Enix’s latest game ‘Gate of Nightmares’ by Fairy Tail creator is getting released on October 26th, 2021 in Japan. The game will be available on ‘iOS’ and ‘Android’ devices.
Gate of Nightmares: all you need to know
Any ‘Otaku’ or Anime fan must have heard about ‘Fairy tail’ or ‘Eden Zero’. And now from the same ‘manga’ writer and artist ‘Hiro Mashima‘ a new game called ‘Gate of Nightmares’ is about to get launched. Not only that but ‘Yasuharu Takanashi’ who originally worked on the music of the actual anime series is also going to do the same for the game too. It will be launched by ‘Square Enix‘ which is known for its famous RPGs like ‘Final Fantasy’ and ‘Dragon Quest’. This game is also going to be an Action-Adventure Japanese RPG. If you have any played any of their game, you will know that they don’t disappoint you in terms of gameplay, graphics or story.
Note: The game is not an adaptation of the anime ‘Fairy tail’. It is based on a completely different story. Though it might give you a similar vibe as the anime series. The story for the game is written by Hiro Mashima and Hitoshi Fujisawa.
The story goes like this: The game will take place in these two worlds: ‘Wistaria‘ a world of swords and magic and ‘Remrias‘ that embodies the dreams of people. There a girl named ‘Emma’ became a ‘Nightwalker’ who rules over monsters who are born from nightmares. These monsters are called ‘Nightmare’. Then Emma meets a mysterious boy named ‘Azel’ And somehow finds themselves on an adventurous journey.
The Release Date and Other Information
Gate of Nightmares’ initial announcement was made back in April 2021. And now the game is finally set to release on October 26th, 2021. It will be released in Japan. The game will be available on ‘Google Play‘ and ‘App Store‘. You can also visit their ‘Official site‘ for more information. The beta test run was already done back in the period of July 1st, 2021 to July 12th, 2021. Currently, there’s no news about its global release so far. But Square Enix started releasing their games in the western market too. So there’s no guarantee but there might be a chance of it being released on a global scale too.
