Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the best first-person shooter (FPS) mobile games in the industry. The game has conducted multiple collaborative events. A few hours back, the highly-reliable Call of Duty: Mobile Leaks and News ( @PlayCODNews ) tweeted regarding a possible collaboration between the gaming franchise and two of the greatest footballers to grace the football pitch. Lionel Messi and Neymar, two of Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking powerhouses, are the expected celebrities to be part of the collaboration event.
Lionel Messi and Neymar potential collaboration ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022

The two football superstars could be potentially arriving in COD: Mobile. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar, the game developers could be aiming to create a collaboration event, including both prominent football figures. The FIFA World Cup 2022 starts on November 20th, 2022. The dates are not far away, and maybe that’s why the leaks suggest a potential event developing in the coming weeks. The major footballing event occurring once in four years will feature the mega-stars Lionel Messi and Neymar representing Argentina and Brazil.
The game developers could be working on a potential collaboration event. However, as of now, evidence is yet to be revealed. The leaks are proofless and mere assumptions. COD: Mobile will not be the first game to collaborate with the Paris Saint-Germain duo. The Paris Saint-Germain forwards have collaborated with various other gaming franchises in the past. The famous battle-royale game Fortnite had collaborated with the Brazilian, whereas the Argentines had collaborated with Free Fire.
The previous collaborating events executed by COD: Mobile
There have been numerous collaboration events in the past within Call of Duty: Mobile. The most recent collaboration was between Call of Duty: Mobile and the Netflix show: Ghost in the shell. Apart from that, famous musicians like Snoop Dogg and Ozuna were featured in the game. The only strong hint for the footballer’s collaboration event is the mark of the third anniversary of Call of Duty: Mobile. The game launched Season 9: Zombies Are Back a few weeks back, and very soon, the game will celebrate its anniversary. All the occasions are blending in together during the same period, and this could be the ideal chance for a potential football collaboration.
Although things remain unclear, the leaks cannot be ignored. The term ‘collaboration’ is not new for targeted celebrities. Moreover, with the World Cup and the three-year anniversary coming together, the possibilities are valid. Call of Duty: Mobile is available for free in Google Play and App Store.
