Exorcist in Island – Another RPG game recently launched for RPG maniacs! This RPG is based on a famous K-webtoon “Island.” Gamepub launched Exorcist in Island, and it is mind-blowing. Whether the visuals or the gameplay, they have left no stone unturned to make it enjoyable. Exorcist in Island’s artist-producer is Yang Kyung-il, the writer of the two most popular comics: Blade of the Phantom Master and Sorma. The game is available in Google Play.
If there are so many geniuses working behind this game, then you can rest assured that it’s sure is going to be one hell of a game. Those who registered for pre-registration got Gem Draw TicketX10, Gold Summon Chest X10, Hero Gift Selection Ticket X20, and High Stamina PotionX10. As the game is new and not much information is available for the players, I’m here with a guide to accompany you on the magical journey.

Before I tell you about the tips and tricks, let’s get a hold of the game and its basics. It’s a dark-action fantasy game. The Exorcist in Island play begins with a young woman named “Miho Won,” who goes to Jeju Island only to find out that it’s lurking with beasts. If I could, I would tell you the whole story, but it would be the worst spoiler, and then you would not even play the game. So the game follows the storyline of the webtoon, and the stages+battles are divided into episodes.
As you clear the battles, you will also watch the episodes and side stories. But it’s not as easy as it seems because after clearing up to a certain level, you might get stuck without the proper knowledge of the gameplay and the strategies. So I highly recommend you go through the tips and tricks before you venture out on such a life-threatening journey.
Tip#1 Collect Rewards in Exorcist in Island
Collecting rewards sounds easy, right? But there are so many rewards in the game at different sections that for 5 mins, you have to keep clicking on collecting rewards. Some familiar places to get tips are mail, tasks, events, index, and attendance. Make sure to order the rewards because you won’t be able to upgrade your characters without the gems and items and will keep losing the battles.
Tip#2 Play Gatcha
Gatcha/Black market is the best place to get high-level rewards. Through this, you have higher chances of acquiring legendary weapons and types of equipment to level up your characters. Black Market is available at the bottom of the screen. To unlock such boxes, you will need to have gems or keys. If you have none of these, you will have to watch three ads to open one box. Now you might be wondering how you will get the keys? Well, it’s effortless, you need to defeat the monsters, and as you clear the higher levels, you get rewarded with keys. Also, before starting the battle, you can see the rewards you will get from winning the fight on the screen.
Tip#3 Know Your Items
This is one of the frustrating tips because it will take a lot of time to learn the uses of each item/potion/weapon/accessory. But make sure to at least go through these once before using them. Using a hero gift selection ticket, you can buy items from the shop. There are items like Stamina Potion (which helps recover 25 stamina), High Stamina Potion (recovers Stamina by 70), Fabric Mist (used for increasing affection), etc. The materials and Gifts help scout unlock characters, while supplies are helpful for current characters engaging in battles.
Tip#4 Know Your Equipment/Weapon
Equipment is crucial for battles; without proper equipment, you won’t level up. You will get the gears as rewards, but you need to make sure to use the right one. You must go through the equipment stats, match your characters, and see which one is more compatible. Similarly, you will have to choose weapons based on compatibility and stats for the characters. This game put more weight on strategic skills than randomly choosing weapons/types of equipment.
Tip#5 Upgrade the Characters
Upgrading the characters plays a pivotal role, whether it’s just this game or any other game. Now how will you upgrade the characters? There are so many options in the game that one is bound to get puzzled but don’t worry, I have your back. Follow the steps if you want to know how to upgrade the character.
You click on the “team” available from home on the bottom left section. Next, click on the level-up option. If you do not have the required brew items, you won’t be able to level up. These brew items are available only in gatcha/episodes.
Tip#6 Some Other Tips for Exorcist in Island
- Keep collecting gifts to increase affection for scout heroes
- Open boxes in the black market through keys or Ads, do not waste gems
- Keep Upgrading characters and provide them with the best equipment and weapons
- Do not rely on potions or supplies
- Try to complete the daily/weekly task for better rewards
- Read the character info not just to level up your game but to enjoy the story as well
- participate in events and go for explorations
- Join Guilds to earn XP and rewards
I will be honest with you, but the graphics were breathtaking, while the protagonist left me in awe. I was so intrigued by the story that I started going through the webtoon story instead of finishing the game. For me, the story is like a cherry on the cake.
Overall the gaming experience was good, but there are too many kinds of stuff to learn and process, so it might overwhelm the beginners, and they might get confused follow these tips, and surely you will get hooked onto this game as well.
